It’s School Vacation Week!

April 17, 2016

beach people

Happy April Vacation!  The families are here at the Resort and are having some fun – in the pool, at the beach, downtown at the Patriot’s Celebration.  Of course we’ve added some extra ‘family friendly’ activities to our weekly schedule.  How about some pinecone creatures?  Or maybe you’d like to walk around our beautiful federally protected salt marsh area, The Rachel Carson Trail?  We’ll be painting on rocks, seashells and canvas boards.  Bubbles, hopscotch and pool volleyball are also on the list.  Don’t forget our usual offerings like the Marginal Way and Mt. Agamenticus.  For the complete list of activities for the week, please check our website and click on the activities tab.  Looking forward to spending some time with our guests, young and mature!  Enjoy the day, Sue

Congratulations to our GM, Heather Ault-Durant.

van

Did you know that we are one of the only resorts in town that offer a beach shuttle during the summer?  Just think, no parking fees and no worries about whether there is a spot available!  Now, I know I’m jumping ahead season-wise (I can’t wait for summer…) but I wanted to highlight our van for a couple of reasons. You now know of the summer runs, but did you know that we also offer complimentary shuttle service to Freeport and Portland?  Again, no parking fees and no worries about spots, how convenient!  This service is offered during the fall, winter and spring when you’re not necessarily thinking about spending the day at the beach.  As I write this, I’m getting ready to bring a group to LL Bean and Freeport to enjoy some retail therapy and a nice lunch.  It may be April and there may be snowflakes in the air but that’s not going to stop us from having fun in Maine!  Hope to see you soon, enjoy the day!  Sue
