Sandcastles, free concerts and The Platters, oh my!

The humidity has finally broken just in time for a super busy and fun Labor Day Weekend! So much is happening for the “unofficial” end of summer that you must take advantage of!

This is the last weekend that many of the local free concerts are happening. Both Wells and Ogunquit host these popular concerts all summer long. Take advantage of this beautiful weather – and enjoy some free entertainment outside.

Grammy winning singing group The Platters, yes THE Platters will be in Ogunquit this weekend, too! They will host two concerts on Saturday night at the Leavitt Theatre. Get your tickets now – if they aren’t already sold out! And keep your eyes (and ears) open for them around town!

Don’t forget it’s also the popular Sandcastle Contest on Ogunquit’s Main Beach this Sunday. Starting at 9:00 come down and watch these talented artists create masterpieces in the sand! Stick around and see if your favorite wins!

Hope everyone has a safe and FUN Labor Day Weekend!
