I’m so excited!  The weather is warming up and new activities are being added to my schedule.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the winter offerings – we’ve had great fun visiting The Portland Museum of Art, walking around LL Bean, checking out the snow on top of Mt. A, and have had lots of great adult laughs during our craft activities.  But I’m ready for hiking, kid friendly activities, local museums and heading back to Portsmouth to enjoy great seafood and warm breezes!  The Portsmouth Eats Food Tour has been one our most successful excursions, to date.  Our guests visit from far and wide and are looking for great local food.  What a better way to check out restaurants down the road than to taste test them! The guides are well versed  in both food and also the history of this beautiful area.  Be sure to plan for this activity when you come to visit! Looking forward to seeing you – enjoy the day, Sue

Spring has sprung!

March 9, 2016

Have you been to Ogunquit in March?  If so, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t like this!  (At least, not last year!)  What a week we’re having – and what a great opportunity to walk the beach and find sea treasures.  While you’re at it, why don’t you join me in the Activities Room and we’ll paint some of those treasures together.  I’ve collected beautiful tumbled beach rocks and lead a painted Mandala Rock activity every week.  I have to say, lots of guests have been taking part and making some great souvenirs to remember their time here!

I’m getting ready to head out on a hike with guests to our local mountain – Mt. Agamenticus.  Have you been there before?  It’s less than 10 miles away from the Resort, with trails for all abilities.  I have guests that take the walk to the top, and others that prefer to ride in the van and just enjoy the views.  When you visit, make sure you ask about these types of activities and sign up for some fun!  Looking forward to meeting you, enjoy the day!   Sue
