Good morning, Winter!

January 26, 2016

Hello, all you Maine vacationers!  It’s a beautiful week, weather wise, here in Ogunquit. What a perfect opportunity to get outside and do some exploring around our area.  Have you heard about our local mountain?  Less than 10 miles away from our Resort, Mt. Agamenticus looms at 692′ above sea level!  OK, I understand that most would not consider that an actual mountain, but hey, that’s what they call it and that’s what I’m going with.  There is a paved road right to the top where the views are amazing!  Look to the east and you’ll see the beautiful Gulf of Maine with our beaches, look to the west and you’ll be amazed at the gorgeous mountain ranges in NH.  On a clear day make sure you try to pick out Mt. Washington!  The hiking trails are well marked and they always have plenty of trail maps for you to use.  We offer a weekly tour to the mountain where you can choose to hike or just take the drive to enjoy the scenery.  And that’s just one of our activities offered here at The Falls in Ogunquit.  Be sure to check out the activities link on our webpage to see all we do, I’m sure you’ll find something to enjoy!  We look forward to meeting you – enjoy the day!
