It is with a heavy heart that I write this post – today is my last day with ‘The Falls at Ogunquit’. I can honestly say that this has been the best place of employment that I’ve ever worked at! From management to co-workers to guests, everyone is kind, caring and genuine. This Resort runs so well due to everyone working together – it has never been a ‘that’s not my job’ type of environment. Our guests see this comradery and feel its’ effects. I can’t say enough good things about this place! So, this begs the question “why are you leaving?” Well…even though I’m a New England girl, born and raised, I spent enough time in Florida to miss it. I happen to like heat and humidity, snow and cold not so much. Lucky for me, I can still do what I love, and that’s spending time with people! I’ll continue with activities in the hospitality field and try my best to give vacationers a unique and memorable experience. After this news, I should also tell you that you don’t have to worry – there will still be activities at The Falls! Megan is the newest Activities Director, please come by to meet her and have some fun. I promise you will!
