Enjoy our beautiful seacoast by strolling along a paved path through sea roses, take a break at one of the many benches along the way, and preserve the views with pictures taken for your later enjoyment.  Wear comfortable walking shoes and expect to walk over 1 mile.  Meet Sue by the front lobby, we’ll take the Resort shuttle van. Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

Join Annie on the picnic tables behind building #3 for some fun decorating a tote bag to use for your vacation treasures.  Meet in the Activities Room in case of inclement weather.

Join Annie to decorate a beautiful wind chime to remind you of Maine breezes.  Meet upstairs in the Activities Room.

Join Sue and walk with her just across the street to one of our areas’ last salt marsh farms.  There is beautiful walking loop on the property with views of the sand dunes, as well as birding opportunities.  Meet by the front lobby, we’ll walk over together. Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

Using watercolor markers, Annie will show you how to create your own chameleon with your favorite colors. Meet in the Activities Room.

Paint and decorate a wooden frame to showcase your best vacation photos!  Meet Sue upstairs in the Activities Room.

Create a work of art on a t-shirt or pillowcase and use them proudly!  Meet Annie on the picnic tables behind building #3, in case of inclement weather meet in the Activities Room.

10:30am – 12:30pm          Ogunquit Museum of American Art            

Tour the grounds with Sue and view the latest showcased artists.  Adults $10, students $9, under 12 is free.  Complimentary drop-in activity for children included with your admission.  Please note:  the museum has some works on display that depict the nude human figure.  Meet near the front lobby, we’ll take the Resort shuttle van. Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

11:15am – 12:15am        Treasure Boxes                                         

Meet Annie in the Activities Room to create your very own treasure box.  Meet new friends and have some fun!

1:00pm – 2:00pm              String Art Fun                                          

Join Annie in the Activities Room to learn about how to create a work of art using paint and string.   This is a great opportunity to learn about abstract art.

wildlife york1:30pm – 3:00pm             The Center for Wildlife in York              

Join Sue and meet CFW educators and ambassadors to learn about CFW and how they treat and care for our local wildlife.  Following the presentation, tour the baby bird room and take a walk around!  Meet near the front lobby, participants will need to drive their own car.  There is a $5.00 cash donation to the CFW to participate.  Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

4:00pm – 4:30pm              Make A Turtle                                         

Meet Sue in the Activities Room to create your very own turtle to take home.  Will it be a sea turtle or a land turtle?

5:30pm – 7:45pm            Kids Night Out!                                          

Parents, your kids need a break!  Send them away for pizza dinner, games and a movie with their new friends.  This activity is open to ages 6-12 and only 15 tickets are available.  Cost is $10.00 cash, paid at registration, and parents must register their children at the front desk by 11:00 am.  Drop off/pick up is in person by adult guardian only.  Activity is held in the Reception Center.

Do you enjoy beading?  Would you like to learn how to bead?  Annie will be demonstrating techniques and you will be able to create your very own piece to enjoy.  Meet in the Activities Room.

Join Sue and friends as we drive to the top of the mountain and hike some easy terrain trails while looking for signs of wildlife.  Remember your camera, bug spray, appropriate clothing and walking shoes.  Meet near the front of the lobby, participants must drive their own vehicle to the site. Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

Using watercolors, Annie will show you how to create a beautiful watercolor suncatcher to enjoy!  Meet in the Activities Room.

Create, paint and decorate a birdhouse to take home.  Meet Annie in the Activities Room and all supplies will be provided to complete your project.

Join Sue and meet CFW educators and ambassadors to learn about CFW and how they treat and care for our local wildlife.  Following the presentation, tour the baby bird room and take a walk around!  Meet near the front lobby, participants will need to drive their own car.  There is a $5.00 cash donation to the CFW to participate.  Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

4:00pm – 4:30pm       Make A Turtle
Meet Sue in the Activities Room to create your very own turtle to take home.  Will it be a sea turtle or a land turtle?

5:30pm – 7:45pm            Kids Night Out!
Parents, your kids need a break!  Send them away for pizza dinner, games and a movie with their new friends.  This activity is open to ages 6-12 and only 15 tickets are available.  Cost is $10.00 cash, paid at registration, and parents must register their children at the front desk by 11:00 am.  Drop off/pick up is in person by adult guardian only.  Activity is held in the Reception Center.

Join Annie by the volleyball net for some outdoor fun before the beach.  It could be bubble blowing, ring toss, jump rope or more!

10:00am – 11:00am    All about Beading
Do you enjoy beading?  Would you like to learn how to bead?  Annie will be demonstrating techniques and you will be able to create your very own piece to enjoy.  Meet in the Activities Room.

Join Sue and friends as we drive to the top of the mountain and hike some easy terrain trails while looking for signs of wildlife.  Remember your camera, bug spray, appropriate clothing and walking shoes.  Meet near the front of the lobby, participants must drive their own vehicle to the site. Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

11:15am – 12:15am    Suncatchers
Using watercolors, Annie will show you how to create a beautiful watercolor suncatcher to enjoy!  Meet in the Activities Room.

1:00pm – 2:00pm       Printmaking
Join Annie as she teaches you how to create prints using materials you can take home and use again and again.  Meet in the Activities Room.

2:30pm – 3:30pm       Make A Creature
Meet Sue in the Activities Room to paint a backyard creature.  You can make your ‘new pet’ look any way you’d like!

3:30pm – 4:00pm       Find A Creature
Take a walk to our playground with Sue to look for creatures like lizards, bugs and worms.  We’ll check under rocks and logs, wear good shoes!

Take some time this morning to enjoy the fresh air, sights and sounds of the nature that surrounds us.  Meet Annie by the volleyball net for some gentle stretches, good for all ages and abilities.  Please bring a towel or yoga mat.

10:00am – 11:00am             Bookmaking
Join Annie in the Activities Room to make your own accordion style book to record vacation memories in!

10:30am – 12:30pm   Rachel Carson Trail
Join Sue and enjoy a leisurely one-mile hike through a National Wildlife Refuge to view nature and our environment.  Bring water, sunscreen and binoculars, along with comfortable walking shoes.  Please meet by the lobby for departure, participants will need to drive their own vehicle.  Sign up sheet in Activities Room hall.

11:15am – 12:15am                Birdhouses
Create, paint and decorate a birdhouse to take home.  Meet Annie in the Activities Room and all supplies will be provided to complete your project.

1:00pm – 2:00pm              Make a Puzzle
Join Annie as she guides you in creating a puzzle of your very own creation!  Meet in the Activities Room.

2:30pm – 3:00pm             Pool Volleyball
Have fun in the pool, meet friends and enjoy some friendly competition.

4:00pm – 5:00pm  Ice Cream Social and BINGO!
What better way to finish the week than with some fun (and prizes)!  Please bring your own bowl and spoon to help reduce waste and care for our environment.  We’ll meet on the patio, or in the Activities Room in case of inclement weather.  Both children and adults are welcome!
