Colton’s new adventure

May 29, 2008

Here is Colton in his first “Exersaucer” adventure.
Can you believe that he is almost 5 months already.  It seems like only yesterday they handed me this little bundle.  I’m almost ready to put him to work pulling weeds.  His grasp of my earings is right on the money, he surely can grab a weed or two around here!!???

See you soon,

Goodbye Carlyn….

May 19, 2008

Its with a heavy heart that we say Goodbye to out Front Desk Manager, Carlyn Tedesco.  Carlyn has been with us at The Falls since 2003 when she began as a front desk clerk.  She worked hard and proved herself as a dedicated strong employee.  When she was promoted to Manager, she jumped right in and even pulled a few 3rd shifts when needed.

Carlyn is a wonderful leader and has built a solid front desk team.

Her welcoming personality shines in everything she does.

We wish her well, and hope she will find her way back to InnSeason Resorts some day….,.

Ogunquit Playhouse ready to go!

May 19, 2008

The Playhouse opens on Memorial Day weekend this year, with a special 5 show production of Forbidden Broadway. The season contines into October. Visit their website at www.ogunquitplayhouse.org to view all the shows and dates. Different this year is a lack of opening nights. Instead they are doing “previews” for three shows on Wednesday afternoon and evening and Thursday afternoon. Also there is a strong focus on children’s shows with “High School Musical ” being performed several times throughout the season and other shows such as Willy Wonka and Fairy Houses, the Musical. Sounds like another great year for

May 16, 2008

Chuck and Norm installed brand new lights facing the stone wall at the front driveway as well as in front of the lobby area.

Yes, they are energy efficient!  Would you expect anything less from the best resort in town???

TGIF!

Landscaping

May 15, 2008

Well, it’s that time of year again.  The time when Heather follows Norm and his team around like a crazy woman!  I know they will be so very happy once the landscaping is complete.

Our Falls at Ogunquit “Green Team” has decides to use landscaping fabric under the mulch beds this year.  Using this fabric helps to reduce weeds popping up.  And helps to reduce the use of pesticides and weed killers.  Justa little something to help make our resort and planet a safer place.

The “Green Team” meets monthly to discuss ways that we can leave the Earth and Resort a little better for our Children.

See you soon,

Heather

Pool Window Construction

May 12, 2008

We are finally getting rid of those aweful sliding glass doors in the pool area.  We joyfully ripped them down and tossed them in the dumpster!  Norm and Chuck have replaced them with new sliding windows.  They have framed in the lower portion, and it looks great!

See you soon!
