Wish you were here…

This is where I was this morning – enjoying a group tour on the Marginal Way.  Our guests visit from all over the United States, Canada and even across the pond!  It doesn’t matter where they come from, though, all say that the views here are the best they’ve seen.  Looking at this picture, wouldn’t you agree?  One of the best parts of my job is that I get to walk this every week, in every season.  Well, to be honest, I don’t usually walk in the middle of winter, but I could if I wanted to!  The Marginal Way is open to the public year round.  There are multiple benches along the paved path, which is 1-1/4 miles long.  You’ll see views like this, wildlife such as songbirds and shorebirds, plants and trees and lots and lots of rocks!  For the adventurous, you can climb around the rocks and check out the pools of salt water for crabs and other fun things.  If you’re artistic, then bring your easel and paints to create ‘en plein air’.   No matter what you enjoy, remember that camera!

Hope to meet you sometime soon, let’s go enjoy the Marginal Way together!  Sue
