Ogunquit is Open!!!

Ogunquit 2011 is Here!
During Patriot’s Day Weekend, shop owners and restaurant keepers threw open their doors, swept the stoops, washed the windows and Ogunquit was officially open for 2011! Big smiles, warm hellos and hopes for a beautiful summer season.
The Ogunquit Museum of American Art has opened early this year and the Playhouse is set to go for May 25th with a bang-up season through mid-October. No new restaurants have opened this year, but there has been a change in ownership for Provence and Tapas and Tinis. It’ll be interesting to see how the new owners blend in to the Ogunquit scene. Best of Luck!
Our favorite gift shop, Spoiled Rotten, has expanded to two floors, doubling the space for all their wonderful junk and the chocolates at Harbor Candy are as great as ever. A face lift for Bread and Roses, but the pasteries are still good enough to have you running back for more.
It’s only a short month until kids are out of school and the traditional crowds appear. Until then, enjoy the full flavor of Ogunquit without the summer influx!
