Winter Doesn’t Have to be Blah

You know, it is winter- and most people think that Ogunquit is closed for the season-but it really isn’t. Yes, we’re sick of the ice, dirty snow and cold, but the Front Desk keeps their cheery face on and has lots of suggestions for things to do.
The town has had the Christmas by the Sea Weekend and is ready for the February Mardi Gras. But some of the best fun has come from the special events hosted by the Falls: The Stonewall Kitchen Cooking Classes Weekend, the Wine Tasting at Angelina’s and the Brewery Tour and Beer Tasting at Federal Jacks! These events were so well received that we’re scheduling another cooking class weekend at Stonewall Kitchen soon and other wine tastings. And this year we’ve added new activities headed by Jeff, our activities director: Snowshoe Treks, Cross country Skiing, morning water warm ups and trips to the summit of Mt. Agamenticus for spectacular views!
Now even though some restaurants have closed for the season, we have lots of great suggestions for some terrific eating. Just ask and we’ll keep you full for your entire stay! And this year, most places are offering incredible specials almost every night.
So, come visit and let us make you smile and help you experience a romantic retreat, as escape to the ocean or an outdoor adventure in Ogunquit-your premier year ‘round destination.
