What is there to do in January?

Ogunquit Sign      Basically the same things you do in July. Eat….we still have the same world class restaurants (OK, so outside dining is out), Drink…come try a new hot toddy…and shop….the same great boutiques and antique shops are here in the snow. Granted things are a little quieter. But if you escape to get away from it all…nothing could be better. You can still walk the beach (dress in layers). You can take a yoga class…or spend the afternoon at a Spa…or visit a gallery. Stop by The Falls at Ogunquit…have Koffee with Keith on Saturday morning…and then head off and start enjoying Ogunquit in the Winter. We will try and review some restaurants here…starting with those open now…and cover some local activities (the things we enjoy). So check in frequently…or better yet…let us know what you enjoy…so we can share with our guests.

One more thing to do in Ogunquit, visit the spa!!! What could be better and so close to any hotel in Ogunquit. Relaxing massages, rejuvinating facials, manicures and pedicures for tired, dry winter hands and feet. The staff at Genesis Day Spa is waiting for you. http://www.genesisdayspa.com

Ogunquit is actually great in the winter, spring and fall. You can hide away from everyone or socialize with the locals at the stores, retaurants and clubs. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. No crowds, less noise and great sales in the shops. A short drive from Portsmouth, Portland, Kittery and Freeport for the true shopaholics. And the beach is always a beautiful sight, especially in the snow.

I love this town, doesn’t matter what the season!
